Kele Ke Kofte Recipe

Ingredients:

For Kofta
  • 10 gm Ginger and green chopped chilli
  • 2 gm Cumin
  • 6 Raw Bananas
  • 1 gm Asafoetida (Heeng)
  • 5 gm Garam Masala powder
  • Salt to taste
For Gravy
  • 2 gm cumin
  • 1/4 kg beaten curd
  • 3 gm Clove
  • 4 Bay leaves
  • 1 gm Asafoetida (Heeng)
  • 5 gm Chopped Ginger and green chilli
  • 25 ml oil
  • 1.5 gm Turmeric
  • 50 ml water
  • 5 gm Garam Masala powder
  • 2 gm Red chilli powder

Garnishes
  • 3 gm Rogan
  • 5 gm Chopped corriander
Method:
  • First of all boil and peel off raw bananas and mash them prpperly
  • Add rest of the ingredients to the mashed bananas and make balls and fry it deep
  • Heat oil for the gravy, add cloves, cumin, asafoetida, bay leaf, ginger and green chilli, beaten curd, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, turmeric and water to adjust the consistency
  • Adjust the seasoning
  • Finally, add the koftas and simmer for a few minutes before serving
  • Garnish with Rogan and chopped corriander
